What is a hosted trip?

Several times each year, John and Jackie from Adventure Awaits lead active seniors on luxury cruises and/or land tours. We keep our group sizes small- only about 20-30 people- small enough to get around easily but large enough to allow for interesting conversations and connections. Traveling with others is a delightful way to experience destinations and make memories with new friends. Many of our 

group members travel with us repeatedly because they enjoy the comradery.

Traveling with us means having your own personal concierge. We arrive a day early to meet with the tour provider, hotel and/or ship crew to make sure everything is ready for your arrival. On arrival day, we greet you at customs with a warm smile and escort you to the hotel where (when the hotel allows) we have already checked you in. After a long flight, it is so nice to skip the long line at hotel check in and go directly to your room. We host special events just for you throughout the trip such as a Welcome Aboard dinner or cocktail party to get to know each other, and specially curated private tours and lectures that are tailored to your interests. Every detail is taken care of. All you have to do is show up!
