Watching a herd of African elephants as the matriarch leads them to the watering hole, hearing the hooves of a thousand wildebeest cross the plains on their annual migration, taking a hot air balloon ride at dawn over the Serengeti- these are the moments many worlds traveler’s dream of experiencing. We do, too! Our dream - to take an African Safari before we turn 70!
John has spent the last year researching safaris. Who are the best companies? What is the best time of year to go? What are the best countries to visit if you want to see certain animals?

We are very proud and excited to announce: we are hosting a photographic safari from Sept 15-26, 2026 partnering with Abercrombie & Kent, the most respected safari guides in Africa for over 63 years. September is a perfect time to take a safari due to the good weather, great wildlife activity, and excellent chance of viewing the incredible Wildebeest Migration.
We will have up-close encounters with wild game roaming the vast plains, enjoy sun-drenched panoramas and gorgeous sunsets, and, of course, stay in high-end, luxury safari lodges (this girl only does “glamping”) located in prime, animal viewing locations.

You know our motto,
“We don’t do cheap. We do fabulous.”
The food along the journey will be amazing.
Your safari guides have been handpicked; they know the animals and how to track them for unforgettable (but safe!) encounters.

You will ride in their custom-built safari vehicles where each seat has an unobstructed view of the Big 5- lions, rhinos, elephants, leopards, and African buffalo.

We will visit Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, as well as other destinations.
Want to join John and I for an early morning hot air balloon ride in Tanzania? It’s an amazing way to see the magnificent animals and their migration patterns from another perspective.
