You can have all of these bucket list experiences on the same trip and only unpack once! I just booked this awesome itinerary on Viking cruise line for a lovely couple. Best news? It’s on sale now until May 31, 2024. And yes- that’s for sailings in 2024, 2025 and 2026!

If the dates of July 14- July 28, 2025 work for you- you can be part of our hosted cruise group and save another $500 per couple- just for being in our group.

Here’s an overview of some of the 9 ports of call you would enjoy:

Reykjavik- Iceland

Your adventure begins in Iceland- the world’s most northernmost capitol city. Vikings landed here in the 9th century. Check out views from The Pearl and enjoy soaking in the healing waters of the Blue Lagoon. Iceland is known for gorgeous waterfalls, warm springs and spectacular volcanoes. You’ll stay overnight to make the most of your time in Iceland.

Liverpool, England

Liverpool is celebrated as the “World Capital of Pop;” 56 musicians born and bred here have had #1 singles. Most notably, the legendary Beatles—John, Paul, George and Ringo—hailed from this port city. You can take the “Magical Mystery Tour” and visit Penny Lane, see the Strawberry Fields, the homes where they were raised and the pubs where they first performed.

Dublin, Ireland

Dún Laoghaire is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland’s UNESCO City of Literature. Famed as the birthplace of many of Ireland’s finest writers, from James Joyce and Oscar Wilde to Samuel Beckett, Dublin and its people have long celebrated the written word. The library of Trinity College is the hallowed home of the inspiring 9th-century illuminated Book of Kells.

Coruna Spain- See the Ancient Tower of Hercules.

Lisbon, Portugal- experience these UNESCO World Heritage sites- Jeronimos Monastery (built in the 1500’s) and the Belem Tower.

Your ship will sail through the Straight of Gibraltar- look up at the magnificent cliffs on either side and think about all the historical figures that have sailed through these waters.

Barcelona, Spain

Your cruise ends in the vibrant city of Barcelona, with its lively culture and inviting outdoor spaces, preserves a rich history. Picturesque medieval lanes wind through the oldest part of the city, the Gothic Quarter, where remnants of the city’s Roman wall were uncovered. Its treasures include the neo-Gothic Barcelona Cathedral, the medieval Jewish district of El Call and the Romanesque Church of Santa Maria del Pi. In the evenings, diners relax in the Royal Plaza at restaurants along the elegant square’s perimeter. If you want to enjoy more time in Barcelona, you can sign up for a 2 or 3-night additional stay and have the services of a Viking host and host led tours.
